About this type
The rarest passenger 767: a double stretch with raked wingtips and a redesigned cockpit, built almost exclusively for Delta and Continental. Only 37 airframes exist, plus a couple of military testbeds.
The raked wingtips, unique among 767s, identify a -400ER instantly.
First flight: October 9, 1999.
Just 37 delivered, to only two airlines.
Introduced the raked wingtip later seen on the 787.
