About this type
The baby of the A320 family never sold well as an airliner, but it found fame flying steep approaches into London City and a second life as a corporate jet. Survivors are scattered and getting scarce.
Its stubby body with the full-size A320 tail makes the proportions look slightly cartoonish, which is exactly how you identify it.
First flight: January 15, 2002.
Certified for the 5.5-degree steep approach into London City.
Only around 80 were ever built.
