About this type
The Beluga's bigger successor, built from an A330 and roomy enough to swallow two A350 wings at once. Airbus let the public vote on the livery: the smiling whale face won by a landslide.
Six were built, all working the internal Airbus shuttle, so its route network is tiny and wonderfully predictable.
First flight: July 19, 2018.
The smile-and-eyes livery won a staff vote with 40% of ballots.
30% more cargo volume than the original Beluga.
