About this type
The original Canadair Regional Jet started the regional jet revolution in 1991: a Challenger business jet stretched into a 50-seat airliner. Almost none remain active.
A CRJ100 catch today is essentially aviation archaeology, and worth a screenshot.
First flight: May 10, 1991.
The aircraft that launched the term 'regional jet'.
Built directly from the Challenger 600 cross-section.
