About this type
The 90-seat CRJ is the family's workhorse survivor: newer, bigger and still ordered long after smaller CRJs faded. Delta Connection and Lufthansa CityLine kept fleets busy for decades.
Its extra emergency exits over the wing separate it from a CRJ700 if you ever see one parked.
First flight: February 21, 2001.
The most numerous CRJ still in service.
The basis of the final CRJ550 conversion concept.
