The second-generation E190 got new geared turbofans, a new wing and fly-by-wire, cutting fuel burn dramatically. Fewer were sold than expected, making it rarer than its E195-E2 sibling.
The E2's engines look almost comically large on the airframe, the visual signature of the whole generation.
