The F27 Friendship's modern successor carried Fokker's turboprop lineage into the 1990s with six-blade props and PW125 power. Survivors haul cargo and passengers in Africa and Asia.
Its ancestor the F27 was one of history's best-selling turboprops; the 50 is that bloodline's final chapter.
First flight: December 28, 1985.
