A family isn't closed until every one of its types sits in your Dex. This patch counts the size of the first family you finish: three types earns Family Album I, four earns II, five earns III, so a bigger family pays out a higher numeral, and closing it awards every one under it too. The ladder grows with the catalog itself, a family that gains a type later can open a numeral that didn't exist when you first closed it.
